Two top shipping companies were presented with awards for their RSCM efforts during this year’s IMPA London.
The awards, for Outstanding Effort in the field of Responsible Supply Chain Management, were presented to Norden and J. Lauritzen by HRH Princess Anne on day one of the event’s purchasing and supply conference.
The awards were presented to Ole Lykke, Head of Strategic Purchasing at Norden and Manager of Corporate Communications & CSR at J. Lauritzen, Kathrine Geisler Madsen.
IMPA ACT is a responsible supply chain management and CSR programme that was developed in collaboration with Norden and J. Lauritzen.
The initiative also announced at the show that Incentra, a Norwegian shipping association made up of 40 members, was joining the sustainable shipping initiative.
